Maybe humans weren’t designed to live in cities and it’s good to get out into nature and go for a walk under some trees.
By that same logic, humans were not designed to get root canals, but a root canal is better than the pain of a tooth that needs a root canal. If you lived before root canals were invented, as a rule, you probably had a lot more pain in your life.
It might be better to go for a run outside in fresh air and sunshine than it is to use the treadmill at your local gym, but it’s never too hot or too cold or raining or snowing inside planet fitness.
In the end, it’s better to exercise than not, and it’s better not to suffer if you can take advantage of modern medicine. Human innovation is not unnatural, it’s a by-product of how awesome humans can be.
